LIME PAINT is a lime-based paint obtained from genuine filtered aged slaked lime, natural inerts, fillers, and special water resistant additives. It has a natural resistance to mold and bacteria. LIME PAINT is suitable for interior and exterior surfaces. Perfectly stable over time, it maintains the breathability of the substrate thanks to its outstanding water vapor permeability. LIME PAINT is supplied in white color (BIANCO). To tint LIME PAINT, use oxide- based pigments or any other lime stable (alkali-resistant) colorant.

Lime Paint performs best on dry, clean, and slightly absorbent surfaces. Irregular absorption may cause blotching, so we recommend priming with a mineral base to ensure tonal consistency and finish quality.

Apply with a natural bristle brush or limewash brush to maintain the authenticity and slight texture of traditional lime painting. For clouded or cross-hatch effects, use alternating strokes or soft sponging between coats.

Decora Lime Paint is naturally antibacterial, breathable, and mineral-rich. It can be gently dusted or spot-cleaned with a dry microfiber cloth. In kitchens or high-touch areas, we recommend a light coat of Mineral Sealer to extend surface longevity while preserving its matte texture.
