On the occasion of the annual event, Decora A&C continues to amaze professionals in architecture and design.

The location at Villa Palagonia was the perfect stage to promote Decora’s concept of art, thanks to the spectacular symbiosis with decorative finishes.

The journey of the Sicilian brand, which starts from the roots of its land and extends overseas, was narrated through a performance by colorful dancers harmonized by choreographer Michelle Vitrano, of Lilith Events, and under the artistic direction of Renata Hausmann of RH Eventi.

The professionals in attendance had the opportunity to experience the quality of the brand’s decorative solutions firsthand, testing the versatility of the materials even on unconventional surfaces, which served as the event’s set, creating a memorable atmosphere and confirming their readiness for future challenges.

Decora A&C once again demonstrates how colors can come to life through culture and performance, surprising art lovers and industry experts alike.

Environmental sustainability and the healthiness of environments have become increasingly sensitive and central issues. The growing recognition of the limits of natural resources and the impact of our actions on the ecosystem pushes us towards more conscious solutions. In line with circular economy processes, Decora proposes a dialogue that embraces material innovation, promoting the ancient processing of seasoned lime as a system of sustainable values that Mother Nature constantly invites us to embrace.

In addition to embodying a thousand-year-old tradition, seasoned lime proves to be a material with exceptional properties: it is natural, biodegradable and helps regulate the humidity of environments, improving the quality of the indoor air. On the occasion of Archifest 2024, at the Marina Bay Sands, we will talk about cutting-edge aesthetic solutions, capable of exciting and communicating by guiding our daily choices. It is an invitation to rediscover the beauty and versatility of natural materials to build a more sustainable future.

The Milan Fuorisalone 2024 promises as always to be an extraordinary event for design enthusiasts and Decora has been chosen to showcase the impact of light on materials. As part of the “Lights On!” project dedicated to the world of lighting, at La Rinascente in Milan, we set up the spaces of the TOOY stand, an Italian company in the lighting sector, with our lime.

The project with TRJ, aims to offer a unique sensorial experience, which mixes light and material in a fascinating and evocative combination. Visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in an exciting journey through the most recent frontiers of lighting, discovering how light can transform spaces and shape the surrounding atmosphere with the help of colours.

Shapes, shades and vivid patterns blend harmoniously to create an evocative and enveloping environment. Prepare to be enchanted by a symphony of light and material, and to discover the charm of TOOY’s creations thanks to the collaboration with Decora.

As part of the project, Io Compro Siciliano majolica is a recognized symbol of Made in Sicily. With this symbol, the organizers have started a journey across the four continents to meet and restore value to those who in various capacities work and have worked to strengthen the brand of Sicily, delivering each one a numbered Made in Sicily majolica. 100 majolica will be delivered, including the seventh to the founder of Decora, Luigi Sparacello. The set of these one hundred Sicilian excellences in the world, connected by this unique and precious gift, represents the basis on which they intend to symbolically build a Made in Sicily skyscraper.

Great figures of architecture gathered in the fascinating context of Palermo’s trapezoidal pier, for an event dedicated to the world of high decoration. The event took place at Chef Natale Giunta’s Citysea, and the focal point of the event was an exhibition of unique and highly inspirational decorative panels.

In this varied context, the Decora event was a great opportunity for the fusion of styles and innovative ideas, proving to be a true pride for Sicily and helping to strengthen the region’s reputation on the international scene. This moment of aggregation underlines Decora’s contribution to the network of local professionals. Palermo, with its timeless beauty, has once again become the perfect stage in the panorama of architectural creativity.

“How you do something, more than what you do, is the key that determines your difference in the world. It is worth whatever task you decide to carry out, the engineer, the politician, the artist, the house painter.”

The article written by Giovanni Callea is dedicated to Luigi Sparacello’s Made in Italy dream, and which tells his point of view on the origins of Decora after the interview in Italy.
